AI Voice Agent

Human-Like Conversations, Inbound and Outbound.

An AI voice agent answers the calls your team cannot get to, and makes the calls nobody had time to make. It books appointments, takes reservations and orders, qualifies leads, answers routine questions — and hands the call to a person the moment it should. It does this in your customers’ language, whether they are calling from the next street or another country.

How it works

What actually happens during the call

No mystery to it. The agent listens, works out what the caller wants, does the thing, and records what happened — in the time a person would take to say the same sentence.

Customer calls

Or the agent dials out. The call connects through your telephony number.

AI voice agent answers

Greets in the configured language and identifies itself as an assistant.

Understands the request

Speech to text, then intent — booking, price, availability, complaint, or a person.

Takes action

Checks the calendar, books the slot, captures details, or answers from your FAQ.

Books, transfers or records

Confirms the booking, warm-transfers to staff, or logs a callback task.

Your team picks it up

With the transcript, summary and captured details already in the CRM.

Inbound calls

Answer every call — including the ones at 9pm

A missed call is rarely a customer who calls back. It is usually a customer who calls the next business on the list. Inbound handling exists to make sure that never happens because nobody was free.

What the agent handles on an inbound call

Customer enquiries

Services, availability, timings, location, pricing ranges — answered from your own information.

Appointment booking

Offers real slots from the connected calendar, books, reschedules and cancels.

Reservation handling

Table, room or seat requests, with the details captured and confirmed back.

FAQ handling

The same twenty questions your staff answer every day, handled without interruption.

Lead qualification

Asks the two or three questions that separate a real buyer from a browser.

Call transfer

Hands over to the right person the moment the caller asks or the request needs it.

Detail collection

Name, number, location, requirement — repeated back for confirmation, then stored.

After-hours cover

Nights, Sundays and festival days answered instead of ringing out.

Where inbound pays for itself

  • Peak-hour overflow — when all three lines are busy, the fourth caller still gets answered.
  • Outside business hours — evening and weekend enquiries captured rather than lost.
  • Repetitive questions — staff stop being interrupted for timings and directions.
  • Consistent answers — every caller hears the same correct information.

Outbound calls

Make the calls nobody has time to make

Every business has a list it means to call back — enquiries from last week, customers whose plan expired, people who asked for a quote and went quiet. Outbound calling works through that list consistently, and hands over the ones who show interest.

What the agent does on an outbound call

Lead follow-up

Calls back enquiries from the website, ads or WhatsApp while they are still warm.

Appointment reminders

Confirms tomorrow's bookings and offers to reschedule instead of a no-show.

Renewal & expiry calls

Memberships, service contracts and plans, called before they lapse rather than after.

Order & delivery updates

Dispatch confirmations and delivery windows, without tying up a staff phone.

Feedback calls

A short post-service question or two, with the answers recorded against the customer.

Payment reminders

Polite, consistent reminders on outstanding invoices, escalated to a person when needed.

Re-engagement

Customers who have not returned in months, given a reason to come back.

Live handover

Anyone who shows interest is transferred to your salesperson while still on the call.

Outbound calling is regulated — read this before planning a campaign

Commercial calls in India fall under TRAI's telecom commercial communications rules, covering consent, registration of senders and headers, customer preferences including the Do Not Disturb registry, and permitted calling hours. In practice: call your own customers and opted-in enquiries, honour every opt-out immediately, keep to sensible hours, and register with your telecom provider as required.

We configure campaigns to respect these rules and build opt-out handling into the call flow. Compliance remains the business owner's legal responsibility, and current requirements should be confirmed with your telecom provider or legal adviser before launching.

Side by side

Which one should you start with?

Most businesses begin with inbound, because protecting the enquiries you already receive is easier to justify than chasing new ones. Outbound follows once the inbound flow is reliable.

Applications

Four businesses where this fits immediately

Anywhere the phone rings all day with the same handful of requests, and the person answering it has another job to do.

Dental clinics

The front desk is with a patient; the phone rings anyway. The agent handles the call end to end.

  • Receives calls and understands the patient's requirement
  • Offers available appointment slots from the calendar
  • Books, reschedules or cancels appointments
  • Transfers clinical questions to staff
  • Calls the next day to confirm and cut no-shows

Hotels & resorts

Booking enquiries arrive at every hour, and most of them ask the same five things.

  • Handles booking enquiries and explains room types
  • Checks availability through an integration
  • Captures guest details and reservation requests
  • Answers facilities, timings and location questions
  • Transfers group or complex requests to the desk

Restaurants & food ordering

Peak hour is exactly when nobody can pick up the phone — and exactly when the orders come.

  • Takes orders and understands menu items
  • Confirms the order back before finalising
  • Captures delivery address and timing
  • Answers common questions on timings and offers
  • Transfers unusual requests to staff

Academies & training centres

Admission season means a hundred calls asking about courses, fees and batch timings.

  • Answers course enquiries and explains programmes
  • Captures student details for admission follow-up
  • Schedules counselling calls in the calendar
  • Transfers serious enquiries to a counsellor
  • Calls back enquiries that went unanswered

Also fits clinics and diagnostics, real estate, service centres, gyms, salons, logistics and any business where bookings and enquiries arrive by phone.

Capabilities

What the agent can be configured to do

Configured per business — you decide which of these are switched on, and where the agent must stop and fetch a person.

Inbound calling

Answers every call, including overflow and out-of-hours.

Outbound calling

Works through a contact list with retry and opt-out rules.

Human-like voice

Natural pacing and interruption handling, not a menu tree.

Multilingual

Indian languages and international ones — Tamil to Spanish, Hindi to Arabic.

Call transfer

Warm handover to the right person, with context.

Appointment booking

Real slots from a connected calendar, booked and confirmed.

Lead qualification

Asks your qualifying questions and scores the outcome.

Detail collection

Captures and confirms name, number and requirement.

CRM integration

Creates or updates the record before the call ends.

Call history

Recording, transcript and summary against each contact.

Analytics

Volumes, intents, outcomes and where callers drop off.

Automated follow-up

WhatsApp or SMS confirmation sent after the call.

Languages

Nobody should have to switch languages to talk to you

A caller who is more comfortable in Tamil will say more, and say it more accurately, in Tamil. The same is true of a customer calling your London office in English or your Dubai line in Arabic. Agents can be configured for a single language, or to detect the caller's language and switch — including the mixed English-and-regional speech most people actually use.

Indian languages

TamilEnglishMalayalam HindiTeluguKannada UrduBengaliMarathi GujaratiPunjabi

International languages

English (UK / US / AU)Spanish FrenchGerman PortugueseItalian DutchArabic MandarinJapanese Indonesian…and others on request

This is not a fixed menu. These are simply the languages we deploy most often. If the one you need is not here, ask — the underlying speech providers cover a great many more.

An honest note on language quality. Accent handling and recognition accuracy vary by language, by accent and by speech provider — they are genuinely better in some than others, and a language being on this list does not mean it is equally good for every use. We test with recordings of your own callers before going live, and will tell you plainly if a language is not yet good enough for the job you have in mind.

The honest part

What it takes to run this for real

The interfaces on this page are demonstrations of how it looks and behaves. A live agent taking your calls needs four things in place — and we would rather you know that now than after signing.

A telephony number

From a provider such as Exotel, Twilio, Plivo or Knowlarity — the line the agent answers or dials from. Indian numbers, international numbers, or both on the same agent.

A speech stack

Speech-to-text, a language model and text-to-speech — or an integrated voice agent platform providing all three.

A webhook endpoint

The service that receives call events and drives the conversation, decides actions and records outcomes.

Calendar or CRM access

Optional but usually wanted — so bookings land in a real calendar and leads in a real CRM.

What we do and do not claim

We build, configure and integrate the agent — the call flows, the prompts, the transfer rules, the integrations and the reporting. We do not claim the AI will handle every call perfectly, and we design the escalation path on the assumption that it will sometimes need a person. Speech quality, language accuracy and per-minute costs depend on the providers chosen, and we will show you those numbers before you commit to any of them.

Scope an AI voice agent

How we deploy it

From first call flow to an agent you trust

Nobody should point an untested agent at their main business line. We start narrow and widen once it has earned it.

Listen first

What do callers actually ask? We start from your real calls, not assumptions.

Design the flow

Greeting, intents, questions, transfer rules and what the agent must never attempt.

Write the script

Prompts and answers in your words and your languages, reviewed by you.

Connect

Telephony number, speech provider, calendar and CRM wired up and authenticated.

Test with real speech

Your team and real recordings, in every language the agent will hear.

Soft launch

Overflow or after-hours only at first, with every call reviewed.

Tune

Fix the misunderstandings the transcripts reveal, then widen the hours.

Support

Ongoing monitoring, script updates and a named person to call.

Questions

AI voice agent questions

What businesses ask before putting an agent on their phone line.

The agent answers or places a phone call, converts speech to text, interprets the caller's intent using a language model, and replies in a natural synthesised voice. Depending on the request it can answer a question, collect details, book an appointment, or transfer the call to a member of your team. Every conversation can be logged and reviewed afterwards.

Inbound means the agent answers calls that come to your business — enquiries, bookings, orders and support questions, including outside office hours. Outbound means the agent places calls on your behalf — following up on leads, confirming appointments, reminding customers about renewals or collecting feedback. Inbound protects the enquiries you already have; outbound reaches the ones nobody had time to call back.

The list is not fixed. Indian languages we deploy regularly include Tamil, English, Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Urdu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati and Punjabi, including the mixed English-and-regional speech most people actually use. For international clients the same agents run in English across British, American and Australian accents, and in languages such as Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Arabic, Mandarin, Japanese and Indonesian. If the language you need is not listed, ask — coverage depends on the speech provider chosen for your deployment, and we test with recordings of your own callers before going live rather than promising it blindly.

Yes — transfer rules are part of the design. The agent can hand over when the caller asks for a person, when the request falls outside what it is configured to handle, when a keyword or sentiment threshold is met, or when a specific department is requested. If nobody is available it takes a message and creates a callback task rather than dropping the call.

Outbound calling is regulated. Commercial calls in India fall under TRAI's telecom commercial communications rules, which cover consent, registration of senders and headers, customer preferences including the Do Not Disturb registry, and time-of-day restrictions. In practice this means calling your own customers and opted-in enquiries, honouring opt-outs, and registering with your telecom provider as required. We configure campaigns to respect these rules, but compliance remains the business owner's legal responsibility and you should confirm current requirements with your provider or legal adviser.

We recommend the agent identifies itself as an automated assistant at the start of the call. It is more honest, it reduces frustration when a caller wants a person, and disclosure is increasingly expected by regulators and platforms. The voice can still be natural and conversational — being clear about what it is does not make it sound robotic.

Four pieces: a telephony number and provider such as Exotel, Twilio, Plivo or Knowlarity; a speech stack for speech-to-text, a language model and text-to-speech, or an integrated voice agent platform; a webhook endpoint that receives call events and drives the conversation; and optional calendar or CRM integration for bookings and lead capture. The demonstrations on this page are user-interface examples — a live deployment requires these accounts and integrations.

Yes. Calls can be recorded, transcribed and summarised, giving you a searchable history of what customers asked and what the agent answered. Recording must comply with the consent and privacy rules that apply where you operate, which usually means announcing that the call is recorded at the start — we configure that announcement as part of the setup.
